The combination of the facing and the work inside the chamber is the key to the success of the DMK classical clarinet mouthpiece. It is a relatively close facing, with wonderful response and beautiful "dolce" sound. The work inside the chamber provides more flexibility, keeps the sound resonant throughout all of the registers, and allows for greater projection without scarifying response or tone quality.
